Membership Types
Quarter Horse Member:
Full voting rights, eligible for election to Council, eligible to show horses, progeny record and register horses, lodge breeding certificates, all points recorded. Note: A Quarter Horse Membership may be held by an individual, company or partnership. Where the membership is held by a company, partnership or other entity, one natural person must be nominated annually as the showing and voting member. Only the nominated member may exercise the showing and voting rights attached to that membership.
Youth Membership:
Youth who are 18 years or younger as at 1st August.
Non-Competing Membership:
To have full voting rights, recieve the E-News and can own two registered Quarter Horses, but does not show or have points collected. Is eligible to attend discounted training clinics.
Associate Membership:
Available to an individual, company, partnership or associations or societies and designed for those that may no longer wish to register horses with the Association but who may still wish to have connections with the industry. Not eligible to vote
Amateur Permit:
Additional application and fee. Applicant must already hold a current Quarter Horse Member membership. Where the Quarter Horse Member membership is held by a company, partnership or other entity, only the nominated showing and voting member is eligible to apply for an Amateur Permit. (A signed Amateur Application form may accompany this membership application).
NOTE: All memberships are due on 1st August each year. For NEW MEMBERS who join for the FIRST TIME after 1st February you need only pay ONE HALF the full year’s subscription.
