With a big thank you to Jan Robinson our National Show results are now available to view and download.
We would also like to take the time to thank our "SPONSORS". Their ongoing support of the National Show helped make it the great success it was. Please take time to view their page attached and wherever possible support them as they have supported us.
To our competitors we offer a huge thanks for your professionalism and camaraderie, and also to all our helpers that worked tirelessly throughout making this a very smoothly run show.
""THIS WAS A GREAT NATIONAL SHOW""
When you are a financial member of AQHA-NZ and you compete with a Quarter Horse registered with AQHA-NZ, you have the chance to gain a variety of awards:
For 2012, it was a trip to East Bavaria, Germany for Kelsey Hare, Kayla Drake, Ellen Osbourne, Georgia Higgins, Josh Robins and reserve Jed Southcombe.
The 2004 campaign in Australia saw NZ produce one World Champion, with Joel Gregory taking out the cutting title.
A New Zealand team has competed at the QH Youth World Cup since the second time it was ever held, and have never missed a year.

This is an educational and leadership-based event for youth members from around the world.
The culmination of this event is a showcasing of skills learned in an atmosphere of friendly competition. It gives youth a unique opportunity to learn in a hands-on setting with other international youth horse enthusiasts.
All AQHYA members are eligible to participate provided they meet each country's qualification guidelines. Five competing team members and up to five (again, depending on each country's procedures) supporting team members will represent each official AQHA international affiliate. Each country is also allowed to send one coach and one team manager.
Competing team members do not show their own horses. The host country provides each team's horses for clinics and competition. AQHA relies heavily on its AQHA Professional Horsemen and member-owners to supply this event with the best American Quarter Horses around.
The AQHA-NZ runs a very active programme for riders 18 and under, including the opportunity to travel overseas to train and compete in both the Youth World Cup and the Australian/New Zealand Trans Tasman Challenge.
Good sportsmanship, unequalled competition, team spirit and lots of good fun have made these events that teens look forward to as a highlight of their Youth career.
The AQHA-NZ runs closed shows and a National Show every year.
