The American Quarter Horse Association – NZ Inc is the official breed association for the Quarter Horse in New Zealand.

Formed in 1970, the AQHA-NZ is a thriving, vibrant organisation offering competitions, education and incentive programmes for youth and amateur riders, including the bi-annual Quarter Horse Youth World Cup and Trans-Tasman Challenge and shows.
